Service & Coverage

Where do you operate?
We provide wedding car hire across Devon, including surrounding areas approximately 50 mile radius from Barnstaple. This includes areas such as Bude, Taunton, Bridgwater, etc.

Booking & Availability

How far in advance should I book?
It’s best to book as early as possible, especially for peak dates like Saturdays. Popular months tend to be June, August and September, but we operate all the year round. It is best to book your ceremony and reception venue dates/times first, swiftly followed by wedding cars.

Does a quote guarantee availability?
Quotes reflect availability at the time of enquiry, but vehicles are only secured once a booking is confirmed.

What deposit is required?
A non-refundable deposit of £100 per vehicle is needed to secure your booking. 

When is the balance and remaining payment required?
The balance (invoice amount less your deposit) is paid 6 weeks prior to your wedding date. 

Pricing & Payments

How is the price calculated?
Quotes are based on several factors, including:

  • Length of hire
  • Distance and route
  • Date and time
  • Vehicle type and availability

What payment methods are accepted?
Payments can be made via bank transfer or major debit/credit cards.

Hire Duration & Usage

How long should we hire the car for?
Hire duration depends on your schedule. Average wedding hire is around 3 hours.

Can the car be used for multiple trips?
Yes, for example transporting bridesmaids before the bride—but extra time may be needed depending on distance. If the venue is more than 10 minutes away, we recommend considering an additional car.

Your hire includes:

  • Chauffeur service
  • Fuel
  • Waiting time
  • Wedding ribbons
  • Umbrellas in case of rain
  • Decorative flowers inside the vehicle
  • Evian water, soft drinks and snacks
  • Any agreed extras (e.g. Starlink high-speed WiFi, decorations or route planning).

Additional features:

  • Champagne - due to UK licensing laws unfortunately we cannot provide. However, your own party can place small champagne bottles in the rear seat fridge, ready for when the newly married couple leave the ceremony, if desired. Champagne glasses can be provided. 

Vehicles & Viewing

Can we view a vehicle before booking?
Yes, viewings can be arranged so you can ensure the car suits your needs.

Are the cars shown the exact vehicles?
Yes, the vehicle you book is the exact one shown in photos—not a generic substitute.

On the Day

Will the chauffeur be uniformed?
Chauffeurs are professionally dressed—either in uniform or suit depending on the vehicle.

What happens if timings change?
Chauffeurs will try to be flexible, but changes must stay within reasonable limits.

What if the car is late or breaks down?
While rare, delays can happen due to traffic or mechanical issues. It’s recommended to have a backup plan for peace of mind.

Changes & Flexibility

Can I change my booking?
Yes—changes are usually free, but must be requested in writing for confirmation.

Can I make changes on the day?
Minor changes may be possible, but cannot be guaranteed.

Special Requests

Can we bring pets?
Unfortunately we do not allow pets in any vehicle. 

Can we vape or smoke in the cars?
Unfortunately we do not allow smoking or vaping inside any vehicle as UK Law does not permit for our drivers in the workplace. If needed, and if we can pull over, for a quick outside break just let us know. 

Can children travel in the car?
Yes, but appropriate child seats or boosters must be used where required.

Additional Services

Do you offer airport or evening transport?
Due to local licencing regulations we are unable to provide this service, but can recommend luxury private hire transfer businesses across Devon.
